Making Sense of College Rankings

Good article by Frank Bruni of the New York Times regarding the proliferation of US college rankings and a caution about putting too much faith in any one source.  Applying to college is truly a unique experience and the decision a student makes should ultimately be the result of introspection and a great deal of research.  Each student’s preferences, therefore, will be based on a mix of very personal criteria, motivations and objectives.  College rankings should be viewed with a critical eye and through the same filter of «personal criteria» established by the student.
